Combat Night 8/1/2026

Capital City Combat Club Earns 3-1 Record at the Moon

Saturday night, Capital City Combat Club sent four fighters to the Moon to represent the gym, finishing the evening with an impressive 3-1 record.

Joseph Jones opened the night with a kickboxing bout against Damian Medina. Jones battled through all three rounds and ultimately came up short in a hard-fought decision. Although the judges scored the contest in Medina's favor, Jones had several strong moments throughout the fight and showcased his toughness and skill.

Isabella Dabage De La Espriella made her amateur debut in a kickboxing match on short notice against Kay Davis, an experienced MMA fighter. The fight went the distance, with Espriella earning a split-decision victory. She secured the win by effectively closing the distance and neutralizing the height advantage of her taller opponent, an impressive performance in her first outing.

Elijah Pantophlet faced last-minute replacement Shilo Elam after his original opponent missed weight. Pantophlet put on a dominant performance from the opening bell, overwhelming Elam with relentless pressure. His devastating knees were among the highlights of the fight, helping him earn a unanimous decision victory.

In the co-main event, Micah Perdue took on Bam McMillian and delivered a commanding performance. Perdue controlled much of the opening round by pinning his opponent against the cage and dictating the pace. He carried that momentum into the second round, where he secured a submission victory with a rear-naked choke.

The team was coached and cornered by Jonathan Wilson, Noah Perdue, Aares Williams, Dylan Whyte, Jonah Perdue, and Logan Roberts, whose guidance helped the team achieve a successful night inside the cage.
